Government appoints head of Ukraine’s National Health Service - MP

Deputy Head of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration Natalia Husak has been appointed to the post of head of the National Health Service of Ukraine.
Olha Stefanyshyna, an MP and a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Public Health, Medical Assistance and Medical Insurance, wrote about this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, on the recommendation of Minister [of Health] Viktor Liashko, the government has appointed Natalia Husak as head of the National Health Service of Ukraine," Stefanyshyna wrote.
She noted that this institution had been without a head for two years, which affected patients, hospitals and healthcare reform.
As Ukrinform reported, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko recommended that the Cabinet of Ministers appoint Natalia Husak as head of the National Health Service of Ukraine following an interview.
