Zelensky arrives in eastern Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has started a working trip to Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, according to the website of the head of state.
Zelensky will take part in events to mark the 30th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will present state awards to service members, the report said.
During the visit, the president will also take part in the ceremony of awarding honorary titles and presenting battle flags to the military units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces mark their 30th anniversary on December 6 this year. It was on this day in 1991 that the Verkhovna Rada passed the law on the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
