Blinken briefs Stoltenberg on Biden-Putin call

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg have discussed the results of talks between U.S. President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the U.S. Department of State.
"They discussed the December 7 call between President Biden and Russian President Putin and NATO's options in response to further Russian aggression against Ukraine," the statement said.
The State Department added that the Secretary praised the Secretary General's ongoing efforts to increase awareness and unity within the Alliance, as well as for his organization of a successful NATO foreign ministerial meeting in Riga, Latvia.
After online talks held between the U.S. and Russian presidents, the White House said it would share their outcome with allies and partners in Europe.
