"The Presidents of Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine Andrzej Duda, Gitanas Nauseda and Volodymyr Zelensky, will meet on December 20 in Ukraine as part of the Lublin Triangle to discuss the security situation in our region," Kumoch wrote.
According to the official, the visit of Poland and Lithuania’s presidents is also "an expression of support for Ukraine in the light of Russian pressure and provocations."
"Both countries support Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration," Kumokh said.
As reported earlier, the coordinators of the Lublin Triangle – deputy foreign ministers of Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania Mykola Tochytsky, Martin Pszydach, and Mantas Adomenas – discussed the security situation in the region as they met in Lutsk on December 12.
In addition, the parties discussed the schedule of future contacts, signed a Joint Action Plan to Combat Disinformation for 2022-2023, and agreed on further steps to implement the Roadmap for Cooperation within the Lublin Triangle.
As reported, the Lublin Triangle is a platform for tripartite cooperation between the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Poland, and Ukraine, aimed at deepening regional cooperation in the security, economic, and socio-humanitarian spheres.
The decision to create the Lublin Triangle was made by the three foreign ministers, Dmytro Kuleba, Linas Linkevičius, and Jacek Chaputowicz, who signed the Declaration on the Establishment of a New Regional Association on July 28, 2020.
