Ukraine's accession to EU, NATO: Lublin Triangle leaders sign declaration
"The joint declaration stipulates clear support for Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO, the fight against Russian aggression," Zelensky said following the Lublin Triangle summit in Huta, Ivano-Frankivsk region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The President added that the Lublin Triangle leaders had coordinated steps to support Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration in 2022.
As reported, a summit of the Lublin Triangle leaders – the presidents of Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania – took place on Monday at the Syniohora residence in the village of Huta, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The Lublin Triangle was established in July 2020 by the foreign ministers of Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania, who signed the joint declaration on the establishment of a new regional alliance. Among the priorities of the format is the reinforcement of the region, security enhancement, Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO, development of economic cooperation, joint counteraction to hybrid threats.
