NSDC secretary, Polish foreign minister agree on positions to counter Russian aggression

On the sidelines of the conference of heads of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine titled "Diplomacy 30. Strategy of a Strong State," taking place in Ivano-Frankivsk at the initiative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, "I had a great opportunity to meet with Ukraine's friend, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Zbigniew Rau," Danilov wrote.

According to him, both parties had a fruitful discussion on further security cooperation between the two countries at the bilateral and multilateral levels, including within the Lublin Triangle.

Also, Danilov said, both parties "coordinated positions on counteracting Russia's aggressive actions against our country, the threat of the launch of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, as well as on resolving the so-called migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border."

On December 20 in Huta, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, Gitanas Nauseda of Lithuania and Andrzej Duda Poland signed a joint declaration following the Lublin Triangle summit, which secures support for Ukraine's membership in the European Union and NATO.
