EU foreign policy chief arrives in Ukraine

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has arrived in Ukraine.
Borrell announced this in a post on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"My first visit in 2022 is to Stanytsia Luhanska and Kyiv, Ukraine," the diplomat wrote.

Borrell said he arrived in Ukraine in connection with Russia's increased military build-up to show EU support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and support sustained reform efforts.
Borrell's visit to Ukraine is his first foreign trip this year.
