Shmyhal, Morawiecki meet in Kyiv

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has met in Kyiv with his Polish counterpart Mateusz Morawiecki.

According to Ukrinform, Shmyhal announced this on Twitter.

"Delighted to have a fruitful personal meeting with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Grateful for accepting an invitation to visit Ukraine," Shmyhal wrote.

He added that Ukraine greatly appreciates substantial support from Poland.

Morawiecki arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday, February 1.

Before leaving for Kyiv, Morawiecki told a briefing in Warsaw that Poland would provide Ukraine with not only verbal support, but also military and humanitarian assistance in light of the threat of further Russian aggression.
