Zelensky to meet with German chancellor on Feb 14 – President’s Office

“On February 14, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz, who will arrive in Ukraine on his first official visit, will hold talks,” reads the report.

The President’s Offices notes that Germany is one of Ukraine's key partners and allies and plays an important mediating role within the Normandy format.

“The visit of the German Chancellor to our country demonstrates Euro-Atlantic unity and support for Ukraine in times of security challenges for the whole of Europe,” the report says.

Olaf Scholz will visit Kyiv before traveling to Moscow on February 15.
