Israel supports Ukraine's sovereignty, ready to provide humanitarian assistance
That's according to a statement posted on the website of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Ukrinform reports.
It says that Israel shares the concern of the international community regarding the steps taken in eastern Ukraine and the serious escalation in the situation.
The ministry expressed hope that a diplomatic solution to the conflict would be found, adding that Israel is willing to help if asked.
The statement also stressed that Israel is ready and willing to immediately transfer humanitarian assistance to Ukraine according to its needs and is in contact with the Ukrainian authorities regarding the matter.
