Ukraine and Italy will jointly restore Mariupol Academic Drama theater

“Joining forces of our Ministries in Ukraine and Italy will rebuild the Mariupol Drama Theater immediately after Ukraine's victory over the russian occupiers”, - mentioned Oleksandr Tkachenko, Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

Dario Franceschini assured of Italy’s solidarity with Ukraine upon this issue. He also expressed support to our country and proposed collaboration for Ukraine’s theatrical groups casts for the time of war.

Also, both ministers discussed the opportunity of solicitation of Italian experience of cultural heritage preservation and registration of cultural values. It was also mentioned the sharing of experience of Italian Arma dei Carabinieri.

The Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities of Italy approves of installment of the cultural curtain with Russia. Recently, Italy rejected the participation of russian artists in Venice art Biennale and Milan triennial. At the same time, Italy created additional possibilities of participation of Ukrainian artists in these forums. Ministers agreed to facilitate the tour of Ukrainian theatrical groups in Italy.

In addition, Oleksandr Tkachenko received an invitation to participate in the official on-line meeting of the ministers of culture and media, which will take place in late March.
