France collecting evidence of Russian war crimes in Ukraine - Macron

"Even with maximum precautions I must take as head of state, I can say that these are Russian war crimes," Macron said, adding that French gendarmes and lawyers had been deployed to help Ukrainians establish this.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on April 5, the Elysee Palace announced that France would offer financial and human resources to support the inquiry into the massacres that the Russian forces committed in Ukraine.

After Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, and the entire Kyiv region were liberated from Russian invaders, it was discovered that the Russians had committed mass killings of civilians. In particular, a mass grave was unearthed in Bucha, where almost 300 bodies had been buried.
