Russia not ready for peaceful settlement – President of Ukraine

The Russian Federation is not ready for peaceful settlement.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a joint briefing with European Council President Charles Michel in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“They [Russians – Ed.] are not ready for peaceful settlement… It’s like they kept coming out with media signals until they started a full-scale invasion,” Zelensky told.
According to the President of Ukraine, he is ready for a dialogue to put an end to the war.
“Whether I want this or not […] I am ready for a dialogue with the President of Russia regarding the end of the war,” Zelensky stressed.
A reminder that the Kremlin announced earlier they had handed over a document to the Ukrainian side as part of peace talks.
