Zelensky thanks Biden, all Americans: We defend common values

As reported, U.S. President Joe Biden said he had called on Congress to approve a new package of responses to Russia's aggression, providing for the allocation of $33 billion to support Ukraine.
On April 28, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act. On April 7, the document was approved by the U.S. Senate. The law will take effect after it is signed by President Biden.
In early April, the U.S. Senate passed the legislation unanimously allowing Biden to use the lend-lease program to expedite the transfer of weapons, military equipment, medicines, food, etc. to Ukraine. It is assumed that the recipient country will pay their cost later.
