New U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink gets Ukrainian visa

And this time is no exception!" Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

She expressed hope for active joint work "at a crucial time in our struggle for independence and democracy."

As reported, on May 19, U.S. Senate unanimously approved veteran diplomat Bridget Brink on to be the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine.

Until recently, Brink served as the U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia. On April 25, President Joe Biden nominated her for the post of the head of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
