Ukraine, U.S. top commanders discuss progress of international technical assistance to Kyiv
That’s according to Zaluzhnyi’s Facebook post, seen by Ukrinform.
“With pleasure and deep respect, I maintain continuous communication with General Mark A. MILLEY, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Today during a telephone conversation, we discussed the operational situation and the delivery flow of international technical assistance to the Defence Forces of Ukraine. I have empathized the necessity to attain fire parity with the enemy, which will allow us to stabilize the situation in the most threatening Luhansk direction,” Zaluzhnyi wrote.
He has also thanked General MILLEY for his “deep understanding of the situation, devotion, and leading role in the military assistance provision to our Nation.”
As reported earlier, President VolodymyrZelensky of Ukraine thanked the U.S. for additional HIMARS multiple rocket launchers that are part of U.S. security assistance in a fight against Russian aggression.
