Russia’s place in UN International Court of Justice, not at international forums – Kuleba
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba in his online address to the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports, referring to the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry.
According to Kuleba, the international community must have tools to protect against those who reject norms, principles and values, who do not want to follow general rules, prefer brutal force over cooperation and issue ultimatums instead of seeking a dialogue.
“Today we have such a country at this table – Russia. Honestly, I believe, after everything Russia has done in the past six months, it has no place at any international forums. The country waging a war of aggression against its neighbor and committing mass atrocity crimes against civilians should be offered only one place – in the international court,” Kuleba said.
In his words, the harmful consequences of the Russian armed aggression can be felt far beyond the territory of Ukraine, and most of the nations of the countries whose ministers are present at the G20 meeting have already felt them.
