The US leader emphasized that he was glad to meet with Zelenska at his residence.
“It was an honor for Jill and me to welcome her to the White House this afternoon,” the President added.
As a reminder, Olena Zelenska began her visit to the USA on July 18. In particular, Zelenska met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, visited the memorial to the Holodomor victims in the center of Washington, and met with representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora. This is the first trip of the First Lady abroad since the beginning of the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine.
