Ukraine, Niger presidents hold first-ever phone call

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a phone call with President of Niger Mohamed Bazoum to discuss bilateral cooperation, participation in international projects and the supply of Ukrainian grain.
Zelensky wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"Held the 1st talks in the history of relations with President of Niger Mohamed Bazoum. Thanked for supporting Ukraine in the UN, agreed on the development of bilateral cooperation & participation in international projects. Assured that Ukraine will remain a guarantor of food security," Zelensky said.
Sixteen ships have already left Ukrainian ports, which will deliver almost half a million tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products to nine countries. Six ships have already entered for loading. By the end of the month, it is expected that at least ten more vessels will be loaded with Ukrainian agricultural products.
