The next week will be very important to Ukraine, as the country will mark Day of the National Flag and Independence Day.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his video address, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We are actively preparing for the new week, which is very important to us, to our state. Ahead, there are Day of the National Flag and Independence Day. Ahead, there is the commemoration of the veterans of the war for Ukraine’s freedom. Ahead, there is the Crimea Platform, which is truly special this year. This year one can literally feel in Crimea’s air that occupation is temporary, and Ukraine will return,” Zelensky said.

In his words, important talks and visits by the real friends of Ukraine have been scheduled for the next week.

“Ahead, there is a significant milestone: six months into the full-scale invasion, the war that has changed everything for Ukraine, for Europe, for the world. Of course, we will have time to talk about this in detail,” the President of Ukraine noted.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russia started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are fiercely fighting against Russian invaders.
