Ukraine will do everything for de-occupation of Crimea – President
President Zelensky stated this a joint press conference with President of Poland Andrzej Duda in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Despite everything that Russia is doing against us, against our state, against our people, we continue and will do everything to de-occupy our Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea by any means," Zelensky said.
According to him, the Crimea Platform is an excellent political tool for discussion and de-occupation of part of Ukraine.
He also reminded that the current summit of the platform would take place in an "expanded format" with the participation of 60 leaders of various states.
"Countries of the African continent and countries of Latin America, which were not present at the first summit, joined us," the President said.
As reported by Ukrinform, Polish President Andrzej Duda is paying a visit to Ukraine on Tuesday, August 23.
Ukraine holds the Second Summit of the Crimea Platform on August 23 in an online format.
