Russian attempts to annex Ukraine territories won’t work out - Podolyak
That’s according to Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the President’s Office, Ukrinform reports.
“A reminder... RF planned to capture Kyiv in three days. Then – to seize Donbas by May 9, and after – at least until September. None of plans worked. Attempts to annex 🇺🇦 territories through pseudo-referendums or to undermine Western support by gas blackmail will not work either,” the official tweeted.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine called on his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and UN Secretary General António Guterres to announce the toughest possible stance on Russia's possible holding of pseudo-referenda on the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.
