Zelensky expects Israel to join sanctions against Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expects Israel to join sanctions against Russia and provide Ukraine with practical assistance to fight against Russian aggression.
“I've held the first telephone conversation with the new Prime Minister of Israel Yair Lapid. I count on his country’s accession to the sanctions on Russia and provision of practical assistance to Ukraine in countering the aggression of the Russian Federation,” Zelensky posted on Twitter.
Yesh Atid party leader Yair Lapid headed the Government of Israel on July 1.
