Ursula von der Leyen arrives in Kyiv

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Ukraine’s capital on a visit on Thursday, September 15.
“In Kyiv, for my 3rd visit since the start of Russia’s war. So much has changed. Ukraine is now EU candidate,” von der Leyen posted on Twitter.
According to her, today she will discuss with President Zelensky and Prime Minister Shmyhal how to continue getting the economies and people closer while Ukraine progresses towards accession.
As reported, the European Commission President announced yesterday that she would visit Kyiv to discuss Ukraine's participation in the EU single market.
