Yermak, Duda discuss Ukraine-Poland interaction within NATO

Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, met with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw on Monday, October 3.

Both parties discussed, in particular, Ukraine's path to NATO, Ukrinform reports, citing the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

"We hope for Poland's proactive support in the issue of Ukraine's membership in NATO and the provision of international security guarantees to our state," Yermak said.

He separately emphasized the recommendations prepared by the International Working Group on Security Guarantees for Ukraine concerning the Kyiv Security Compact, the implementation of which the Ukrainian side will work together with partners.

Yermak and Duda also discussed the continuation of security aid to the Ukrainian army, the urgent needs of the defense forces of Ukraine, energy security, Russia's pseudo-referendums in Ukraine etc.

Yermak also thanked Duda for being awarded a high state award of the Republic of Poland - the Grand Cross of Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland.
