“I’m in constant contact with our strategic partners. Had a phone call with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Coordinated further steps on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine,” Zelensky wrote.

Meanwhile, Stoltenberg praised the brave Ukrainian people and forces.

“Spoke with President Zelensky and praised the brave Ukrainian people & forces for the impressive progress in regaining their territory from Russian aggressors,” Stoltenberg noted on Twitter.

In his words, Russia must stop the war it has started. NATO will sustain and step up support for Ukraine for as long as it takes, Stoltenberg added.

A reminder that, on September 30, 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk and Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal signed Ukraine’s application for accelerated accession to NATO.
