Zelensky, Draghi coordinate positions ahead of G7 meeting

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has informed Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi about the consequences of Russian missile attacks and coordinated positions before a meeting of the Group of Seven.

Zelensky said this in a statement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"During the call with Prime Minister of Italy Mario Draghi, I spoke about the consequences of Russia's missile terror. We coordinated positions on the eve of important international events, including the Group of Seven Summit. I am grateful for the consistent, strong support," Zelensky said.

Earlier reports said that Biden and the leaders of G7 countries would hold a video conference on Tuesday regarding the situation in Ukraine against the backdrop of Russian missile attacks on Ukrainian cities.
