Ukrainian envoy calls on United States to speed up delivery of air defense systems

The relevant statement was made by Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova on CBS News, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Unfortunately, these systems are difficult to produce, and they are not ready on the shelves waiting, but we are doing everything possible and asking our partners to do everything possible to speed up not only the delivery but also the ordering of these systems,” Markarova said.

In her words, Ukraine needs to secure as many settlements as possible and as many civilians, namely children, as possible from Russian missiles.

According to Markarova, despite Putin’s statements, Ukraine should be prepared for everything, especially as ‘partial mobilization’ in Russia turned to be a failure.
