Russia bans military-technical cooperation with 74 entities from 11 NATO member states

The Russian government has barred its defense firms from concluding agreements in the field of military-technical cooperation with 74 organizations from 11 "unfriendly" countries, all members of NATO.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the Russian government press service.

The Russian government has approved a list of foreign entities that are subject to restrictions in the field of military-technical cooperation. The list includes 74 organizations from Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany, Canada, Lithuania, Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Montenegro, Estonia, and the USA.

It is forbidden to enter into agreements in the field of military-technical cooperation with companies put on the list, which includes 21 organizations from Germany, 15 from Bulgaria, 12 from Poland, six from Slovakia, five from Lithuania, four from the Czech Republic, three each from Great Britain and Montenegro, two each from the USA and Canada, as well as an entity from Estonia.

The list of "unfriendly countries and territories" was approved by the government order of March 5, 2022.

On February 24, Russia unleashed a new stage of its war on Ukraine – a full-scale invasion. The invaders have been shelling and bombing peaceful cities and villages, killing civilians. Democratic nations have introduced sanctions targeting the aggressor.
