The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is drafting an appeal to international partners to exclude Russia from the G20.
Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a member of the Holos (Voice) faction, reported the news on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Tomorrow the G20 summit begins in Indonesia. In this regard, the parliament is preparing an appeal to international partners to exclude the Russian Federation from the Group of Twenty (G20). The relevant resolution will be introduced to and voted on in the Verkhovna Rada next week," MP noted.
Zhelezniak added that in 2014, after the annexation of Crimea, the Russian Federation was already expelled from the Group of Eight (G8).
As reported, the G20 summit will be held on the island of Bali on November 15-16, where the President of Ukraine has also been invited.
