Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and President of France Emmanuel Macron have met in Paris and discussed the additional supply of air defense systems for Ukraine, financial aid, the restoration of energy system, and the situation at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Talked about the additional supply of air defense systems to protect our sky, financial support for Ukraine’s budget from the EU and France, the restoration of Ukraine’s energy system and the procurement of the equipment needed for quick repairs, the situation at Zaporizhzhia NPP and the need to demilitarize it as soon as possible,” Shmyhal wrote.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked the President of France for organizing the ‘Solidarity with the Ukrainian people’ conference.

“The Government of France and the French people are remaining our reliable allies in the struggle for Ukraine’s freedom and independence in the war against Russia,” Shmyhal added.

A reminder that Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and Ukrainian government officials are paying a working visit to France.
