Whatever Putin, Lukashenko agree on, Ukraine is ready for it - Kuleba
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said this at an online briefing on Tuesday, December 20, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The meeting between Putin and Lukashenko is another dance performed by them. According to the information we currently have, no critical decisions were made at this meeting," Kuleba said.
He noted that Putin continues to encourage Lukashenko to maximally support the activities of the Russian armed forces.
Kuleba also noted that now, in fact, it can be said that a number of facilities and a certain part of the Belarusian military infrastructure are under Russian control, and the Belarusian military has actually been removed from influencing these processes.
"But as far as we know, nothing dramatic happened at this meeting. As far as we know, another meeting between Putin and Lukashenka is to be held soon. Whatever happens, we are already trained […] and we have life experience, so we are ready for any scenario. Whatever they agree on, Ukraine is ready for it," Kuleba said.
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, and Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks in Minsk on Monday, December 19.
