Biden, GOP's McConnell talk Ukraine

U.S. President Joe Biden and Senator Mitch McConnell, who is a leader of the GOP wing in Senate, discussed the situation in Ukraine, among other issues of foreign policy.

That’s according to the White House press service.

“We talked about foreign policy, about Ukraine, about keeping everybody together — not in the Congress, but just internationally,” Biden told reporters.

As Ukrinform reported, late December, both houses of U.S. Congress passed the state budget bill, which contains a large-scale assistance package for Ukraine and its allies in the amount of approximately $45 billion. The bill was later signed off by President Biden.
