Ukraine has agreements with Croatia to strengthen Ukraine's defense - Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has agreed with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on concrete decisions to strengthen the defense of Ukraine and hold an international conference on demining.

The head of state announced this on Twitter, reports Ukrinform.

"Had a meaningful conversation with Croatian PM Andrej Plenkovic. Congratulated on joining the Eurozone and Schengen area. Agreed on specific decisions to strengthen Ukraine's defense, as well as on holding an international conference on demining. Agreed on the role of Croatia in the peace formula," Zelensky said.

Croatia earlier announced its intention to allocate almost EUR 3 million for the purchase of mine clearance machines for Ukraine.
