President of Ukraine, Latvia’s Saeima Speaker hold meeting in Kyiv

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Speaker of the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia Edvards Smiltēns have held a meeting in Kyiv to discuss political, humanitarian and defense support for Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Latvia’s political, humanitarian and defense support is important for our country,” Zelensky stressed.
In addition, Zelensky thanked Latvia for supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, as well as for the warm welcome of Ukrainians who had been forced to leave the country due to the Russian invasion.
