German Defense Minister Pistorius may visit Ukraine in coming weeks

The newly-appointed German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is likely to pay a visit to Ukraine soon, probably even within the next four weeks.
The relevant statement was made by DW, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In a commentary to Bild and Sonntag, Pistorius said: “What is certain is that I will travel to Ukraine quickly. Probably even within the next four weeks.”
As for the supply of tanks for Ukraine, Pistorius noted that Germany is “in very close dialogue with our international partners, first and foremost with the U.S., on this issue”.
According to Pistorius, the ministry was instructed to check everything, so that time is not wasted.
A reminder that, on January 19, 2023, Boris Pistorius took his oath of office in the Bundestag as German Defence Minister.
