Government approves appointment of three regional administration heads

The Cabinet of Ministers has supported Ukrainian President’s draft decrees on the appointment of new heads of the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regional state administrations.

This is said in a report published on the Telegram channel of the Cabinet of Ministers, according to Ukrinform.

“The government supported the draft decrees of the President of Ukraine on the appointment of new heads of regional state administrations: Dnipropetrovsk region - Serhiy Lysak; Zaporizhzhia region - Yuriy Malashko; Kherson region - Oleksandr Prokudin," the report says.

As reported, on January 24, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the dismissal of Valentyn Reznichenko as Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration head, Oleksandr Starukh as  Zaporizhzhia regional military administration head, Oleksiy Kuleba as Kyiv regional military administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi as Sumy regional military administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych as Kherson regional military administration head.

According to Article 118 of the Constitution of Ukraine, heads of local state administrations are appointed and dismissed by the President of Ukraine upon recommendation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
