President: Ukrainian diplomacy should make our interests clear to all countries
"It is extremely important for Ukraine to have meaningful relations with the entire region of Southeast Asia and with each country of this region. We will continue the appropriate movement. And in general, Ukrainian diplomacy has a clear task: to reach all regions of the world where our position is not sufficiently represented yet, to make Ukraine and Ukrainian interests clear to all countries and peoples with which we do not yet have stable relations," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in his latest address.
The President specified that he means the countries of Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
According to him, Ukraine’s diplomatic activity is currently very high, new agreements on assistance to our country are made almost every day.
"The main thing is that every agreement reached should turn into specific supplies for our defense as soon as possible, into specific interaction between countries, into signed documents," the President added.
As reported, on February 13, for the first time in the history of bilateral relations, President Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with President of the Philippines Bongbong Marcos and discussed further deepening of cooperation at international platforms.
