President of Ukraine plans to meet with China’s leader

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the press conference ‘February. The Year of Invincibility’, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“First of all, I am planning to meet with Xi Jinping, and I believe this will benefit our countries and security in the world. We have a large trade turnover with China. The matter is not only the war. The matter is that we are the states interested in preserving economic relations,” Zelensky said.

The President of Ukraine expressed confidence that China historically respects territorial integrity and, thus, it should do everything for Russia to withdraw troops from Ukraine’s territory, because “this is exactly respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity”.
