EP President arrives in Ukraine

The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, arrived on a visit to Ukraine.
She posted the corresponding tweet in English and Ukrainian.
“Good to be back in Ukraine. With those brave people who inspired the World. With those heroes who refuse to give in. With those who sacrificed everything for our values. With Europeans whose home is in our European Union,” the EP president wrote.
It was reported that Roberta Metsola became the first European politician to visit Ukraine and speak to the Verkhovna Rada deputies in April last year, when the situation around Kyiv remained extremely tense.
