Ukraine’s Prosecutor General, President of Latvia discuss ways to create special tribunal for Russia
As the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram, the parties also touched upon the main developments and agreements reached at the United for Justice international conference held in Lviv.
The Prosecutor General thanked Levits for his deep understanding and strong political messages in support of holding the Russian Federation fully accountable for international crimes in Ukraine.
Kostin thanked the President of Latvia for joining the conference.
As reported, the United for Justice international conference was held in Lviv on March 4. The main goal of the event was to consider the ways to hold the Russian invaders, who have been committing war crimes and crimes against humanity during the aggression against Ukraine and in the temporarily occupied territories, to account.
The conference participants also discussed the possibility of creating a special tribunal in The Hague to condemn the crime of aggression against Ukraine and bring the highest political and military leadership of the Russian Federation to justice.
