Lithuania's FM: Those who want peace should be addressing their demands to Putin, not Zelensky

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis has advised those who call for peace talks to address their demands to Russian President Vladimir Putin, rather than Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He reported this on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.

"You don't ask 'both sides' to 'discuss peace' after an invasion. You tell the invader to leave. Those who want peace should be addressing their demands to Putin, not Zelensky," Landsbergis wrote.

Zelensky said earlier that the beginning of the diplomatic format and the documentation of the end of the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine at a big table in the presence of "decent" countries would be possible only if Russia withdraws its troops from Ukraine without a fight.
