President Zelensky announces important meetings in Japan, bringing peace closer

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced important meetings with partners in Japan during the G7 Summit, bringing peace in Ukraine closer.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Japan. G7. Important meetings with partners and friends of Ukraine. Security and enhanced cooperation for our victory. Peace will become closer today,” Zelensky wrote.
A reminder that, on May 21, 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will attend the Group of Seven (G7) nations summit in the Japanese city of Hiroshima in person. It will be his first visit to Japan, hosting the G7 Summit, and Asia since the Russian invasion started.
According to the Government of Japan, the President of Ukraine is also planning to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida.
