Zelensky may start publicly fighting with those who allow Russia to circumvent sanctions

He said this during a joint press conference with President of Estonia Alar Karis in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Unfortunately, there are states around the world, and on the European continent, that like it or not, but help to circumvent sanctions. To be honest, I'm even a little tired of this particular struggle, and I think I will start publicly fighting those who make it possible to circumvent these sanctions," Zelensky said.

He emphasised that the ability to circumvent sanctions leads to an increase in Russian missile production.

"So that we all look adequate, not like fools. We can, of course, think about how we can produce hundreds of missiles every month (for air defence systems - ed.) and how difficult it is to do so, but on the other hand, give them (Russians - ed.) the opportunity to circumvent and produce more "X" or other ballistic missiles. That is, some nonsense is happening," the President said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on 1 June, the second meeting of the European Political Community took place in Chisinau, where 47 heads of state and government discussed joint efforts for peace in the context of the war in Ukraine and related crises, the protection of democracy, strengthening energy security and the resilience of European states.

At the summit, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated the need for partners to work together within the framework of the Petriot Coalition and the Fighter Coalition to put an end to Russian missile terror.
