Asian countries increasingly inclined to support Ukraine – defense official
Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Volodymyr Havrylov said this in a comment to the Military Media Center, according to Ukrinform.
He noted that countries in Asia are increasingly inclined to support Ukraine, and the dynamics of sentiment in this region in recent months "has been very positive in our favor."
"This primarily concerns Japan. It has opened up a lot to us," Havrylov said.
According to him, South Korea is also becoming more inclined towards Ukraine.
In particular, he noted that Vietnam and Malaysia are already "looking more boldly at communicating with us."
"They all understand that there was aggression. But in that region, traditionally, there was a great influence of the Soviet Union, and later of Russia, but Russia is simply unable to maintain any filters in conditions when a lot of negative things about it are spreading worldwide," Havrylov said.
