Yermak, chief advisor to Brazil president discuss peace formula

According to the Ukrainian president’s press service, Yermak spoke about the preparations for the Global Peace Summit, in which Ukraine seeks to involve as many countries as possible in order to implement the points of President Volodymyr Zelensky's Peace Formula.

"Of course, we are extremely interested in Brazil's participation in this summit. We are ready to talk, and it is very important for us to hear your opinion," Yermak said.

He also noted that Brazil's experience in environmental protection, among other things, is extremely valuable.

"Russia's destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant has shown the extreme relevance of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, in particular the security and environmental clauses," he added.

The Head of the President's Office also thanked Celso Amorim for the visit of the Brazilian delegation to Ukraine in May 2023, which was extremely important for Ukraine.

As reported, Ihor Zhovkva, the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, in an interview with Ukrinform, said that over the past month, Ukraine has made significant progress in the preparations for the Peace Formula summit, more than 20 countries have already chosen a point or points that they are ready to coordinate or be co-chairs.
