Zelensky invites African countries to join Ukraine’s peace formula

He said this at a press conference with the leaders of African states in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I am grateful to the participants of our meeting for supporting the principle of territorial integrity of states and protection of nations from aggression. And today I saw the perspective of our work on certain points of the Peace Formula. Of course, I invited the African states to participate in the Global Peace Summit that we are preparing," Zelensky said.

He stressed that the proposals of the leaders of various states from different continents are very important for the basis, which should be built precisely on Ukraine’s Peace Formula.

Zelensky noted he wants as many countries as possible to join the Global Peace Summit and that it can take place as soon as possible, however, according to the President, it is not easy.

At the same time, Zelensky added that he sees points where Ukraine can cooperate with African colleagues. He also expressed hope for the organization and holding of Ukraine-Africa summit in the future.

As reported, a delegation of African leaders arrived in Kyiv on Friday.
