President Volodymyr Zelensky has discussed with Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko the ways to tackle the consequences of the Kakhovka HPP destruction and the issue of developing a new doctrine of Ukraine.

This is said in a statement on the official Telegram channel of the President of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"A meeting with Minister of Internal Affairs Klymenko. Kherson and the region. Eliminating the aftermath of the Russian terrorist attack at the hydroelectric power plant, providing people with drinking water, recording the damage so that people can receive help. Of course, the issue of humanitarian demining. Many different details, the Ministry of Internal Affairs works systematically. Priority - to ensure all conditions for a normal life as soon as possible," Zelensky said.

In addition, according to him, the issue of preparing a new doctrine of Ukraine, including a security component, was considered.

"These are more strategic issues. What concerns the new policy and new security standards. Very thorough proposals. I am grateful to everyone involved in this work," the Head of State emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, in an online address to the Organization of American States, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that those who ordered the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP and reservoir understood the consequences of their actions.
