Zelensky dismisses ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree to dismiss Ihor Kyzym from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus.

The relevant decree was published on the President's website, Ukrinform reports.

"To dismiss Kyzym Ihor Yuriyovych from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus," the decree reads.

As reported, Ihor Kyzym was appointed ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus on February 20, 2017. On April 18, 2023, he was summoned to Kyiv for consultations due to an unfriendly act by the Republic of Belarus aimed at supporting the aggressor state of the Russian Federation.
