There is no doubt that Ukrainian, Crimean Tatar flags to fly over Crimea - Chubarov
The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov wrote about this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
He noted that with the occupation of Crimea by Russia, the golden tamga on the blue flag became a symbol of the rebellion and courage of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people, a symbol of their struggle for their rights and for the restoration of Ukraine's state sovereignty over Crimea.
"There is no doubt that thanks to the servicemen of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, volunteers, Ukrainian society, citizens of Ukraine who in the conditions of occupied Crimea and in the torture chambers of Russian prisons resist the Russian occupiers in Crimea, the state flag of Ukraine and the Crimean Tatar national flag will soon be raised over the liberated Crimea again," Chubarov said.
The Chairman of the Mejlis added that the Crimean Tatar national flag is an integral attribute that demonstrates unity, self-identification, continuity of generations and the struggle of the Crimean Tatar people for their freedom.
As reported, today, June 26, is the Day of the Crimean Tatar National Flag.
